  1. Hi,

I can’t believe that I haven’t seen this website before. It’s great! I was able to listen to the Baguazhang podcast (65) and I was curious about what branch of Yin style baguazhang did you study that doesn’t have or allow fist punching? I study the Yin style of He Jinbao and there are lots of fist punches used. They are in the forms and we drill them. Also, the statement about taking the circle walking out of the art and you essentially have Xingyi quan is simply incorrect. There may be some similarly as the founder trained in Bafanquan (along with other styles) in his youth. Anyway, I hate that it took over 4 years to actually find this website and the podcasts. There is a lot of good stuff here and I look forward to reading and listening to the material.
